The Book Nooks

Directed by Jasmine Sarkis & Bianca Lombardo

Role: 2nd Assistant Director (and 1st Assistant Director for 1 shoot day).

The Book Nooks is a mockumentary comedy web series about a group of friends who love books. We worked on Episodes 5 and 6 which are the finale, where the friend group enter the Pelica awards.

Paris’ responsibilities on set included:

  • Managing up to 40 extras, cast and crew members

  • Coordinating extras on the set

  • Managing the shoot location

  • Creating the call sheets and assisting in schedule creation

  • Communication with crew and cast members to keep them updated regularly

  • Setting up and cleaning up the lunch area

  • Ensuring all cast members had signed their paperwork

  • Capturing candid iPhone BTS photos & videos
